If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
11. Google API Services User Data Policy
Our platform enables producers to integrate with Google Drive to import/export beat assets and project files. When you authorize our application to access your Google Drive, we interact with your Google user data as follows:
- Data Accessed: We request access only to files explicitly selected by you through the Google Picker interface, or files created by our application in your Google Drive (using the
drive.file scope). We do not access, view, or scan all files or folders in your Google Drive. We also receive basic profile information (like your email address) necessary to authenticate the OAuth connection.
- Data Usage: We process the Google user data strictly to provide the requested service: importing audio files (like beats and stems) directly into your Tuneslice - Music management platform catalog, or exporting complete project files from Tuneslice - Music management platform into your Google Drive for backup and collaboration.
- Data Sharing: We do not share, transfer, or sell your Google user data to any third parties, including data brokers, advertising networks, or analytics providers. Information retrieved from Google Drive is only transferred between Google's servers and our servers to facilitate the direct import/export functionality you request.
- Data Storage & Protection: When you connect a Google account, your OAuth access and refresh tokens are securely encrypted at rest in our database. Imported audio files are stored securely on our servers and access is governed by the same strict security controls outlined in Section 5 of this policy.
- Data Retention & Deletion: Google OAuth tokens are retained until you explicitly disconnect your Google Drive from your Tuneslice - Music management platform settings, at which point the tokens are permanently deleted from our database. Files imported from Google Drive become standard platform assets and are retained until you delete the associated beat/project or delete your account. You can revoke our application's access at any time directly from your Google Account settings.
Our application's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
12. International Data Transfers
If you access the platform from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across international borders. By using our services, you consent to such transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective date" at the top of this page.
- Post a notice on the platform if the changes are significant.
Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
14. Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact the site administrator through the platform.
